How Coronavirus Is Impacting Mental Health

Today I had nearly 10 phone calls from individuals seeking counseling to support with the impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). The common factor impacting everyone was accessibility. During each phone call, a person would request to have counseling online for the time being.

Typically, this is not an issue. Santos Counseling PLLC, since day one of operation has always provided counseling in the office and through teletherapy (online therapy).

How Using Values Can Improve Your Mood

Santos Counseling is offering online therapy to support during the COVID-19 crisis.

The CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) is impacting the Greensboro, NC and surrounding communities of North Carolina. The counselors of Santos Counseling PLLC came together to explore how our office can continue to be with you. To explore online therapy or face to face counseling click here.

The first item that we want to share is that we are offering online counseling as well as continuing to provide face to face counseling. If you choose to visit our office, please know that we are doing our best to maintain cleanliness.

All furniture and tables will be regularly disinfected throughout the day. Santos Counseling PLLC is asking all staff members and patients who are experiencing a fever, trouble breathing, or symptoms connected to COVID-19 to reschedule appointments and take the necessary actions.

How Online Counseling Helps Couples

Have you ever wondered why you can’t have a happy relationship?

 

You walk down the street, and see happy couples passing you. As each couple passes you wonder, why not me.

As a relationship counselor, I want to share with you that you can have the relationship you deserve. You can shift your mindset and transform the relationship and life that you have.

One of the key reasons that couples struggle to have a happy and successful relationship is because of focusing too much on the problems.

  • There are 24 hours in a day.

If the majority of the hours are consumed with problems, then your mood will be impacted. More than likely when you are in the midst of problems, you’ll notice that your stress is high. That you are depressed, anxious, or simply not feeling stable and happy.

On the other hand, when you are NOT focused on the problem, you are focused on other things. You are focused on living your life, going on dates, and having fun.
